winter is beautiful

 

 

  

 

 

 

Little guests had visited our mini garden.

A brown city hare, and someone a bit bigger one,

perhaps a fox?

Everything is yet asleep and silent,

 but the promise of spring is in the air,

every day and everywhere.

These are the days

to live life the fullest,

to remember a tremendous amount of things within a day.

Therefore,

 I am especially inspired today

 by Selfridges' new No Noise campaign.

Evening walk

Moonlit evening, silver clear
and the night’s blue billows,
sparkling waves, numberless,
follow one another.
Shadows fall along the path,
on the shore the bushes softly weep,
black giants guard its silver in their keep.

Friday

It is November,
and for everything there is a season.
I pack the last bits and pieces of summer into boxes and jars.

I am happy because it's Friday.
